Support for High Priority Contracts

The CARE Team is a specialist operational team working across London and the South East, established to strengthen performance on our most critical and high-risk contracts, supporting our clients’ and residents’ needs. The team is deployed where it delivers the greatest value, supporting peak demand, new contract mobilisations, and complex operational challenges that require experienced, high-impact intervention.

Engineers and operatives assigned to the CARE Team benefit from an enhanced pay and benefits package, reflecting the increased responsibility, flexibility, and performance expectations associated with this work. Overall Purpose

The Electrician is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in both domestic and commercial properties.

This role ensures compliance with the current Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, contributing to the safety and comfort of residents. The Electrician plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in property services.

Key Tasks / Activities / Responsibilities

Operational Delivery

*         Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances to high standards.

*         Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of electrical systems.

*         Replace electrical sockets and fittings as required.

*         Read and interpret job outline tickets accurately.

*         Follow defined operational processes and proactively review, improve, and revise procedures to strengthen service delivery and compliance.

Quality and Audit

*         Carry out Health and Safety risk assessments on site.

*         Report faulty appliances and installations that do not comply with regulations.

*         Ensure all work meets the current Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.

Customer & Client Focus

*         Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.

*         Provide clear updates on job progress and any issues encountered.

*         Documentation & Compliance Management

*         Maintain accurate records of all work completed.

*         Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Person Specification 

Key Knowledge

*         Deep knowledge of electrical regulations and standards.

*         Proficiency in the current Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.

*         Understanding of Health and Safety risk assessments.

*         Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

*         Familiarity with modern digital systems for work management.

Key Skills

*         Strong attention to detail.

*         Effective time management.

*         Positive attitude and proactive approach.

*         Excellent communication skills.

*         Ability to mentor and guide others.

Key Experience

*         Proven experience as an Electrician in domestic and commercial settings.

*         Experience in routine maintenance and servicing of electrical systems.

*         Background in conducting Health and Safety assessments

*         Track record of delivering high-quality workmanship.
