About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Gas Supervisor to lead and support our domestic gas team delivering high‑quality repairs, servicing, and compliance works across our social housing portfolio. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain excellent service standards for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

*       Supervise a team of Gas Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management.

*       Conduct post‑inspections, audits, and ensure all works meet industry standards and organisational KPIs.

*       Ensure all gas works comply with Gas Safe, HSE regulations, and internal policies.

*       Coordinate workloads, allocate jobs, and support efficient scheduling.

*       Maintain professional communication with tenants, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

*       Expert advice on complex diagnostics, repairs, and installations.

*       Provide Out of Hours Escalation cover (rota)

Essential Qualifications

*       CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety

*       CENWAT – Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters

*       CKR1 – Domestic Cookers

*       HTR1 – Gas Fires & Wall Heaters

*       G3 – Unvented Hot Water Systems

*       Proven experience in domestic gas engineering within social housing

Desirable Skills & Experience

*       Supervisory Experience within a repairs / maintenance environment

*       Strong understanding of social housing compliance

*       CDMA1, Inspection Carbon Monoxide

*       Excellent communication and organisational skills

*       Ability to manage workloads, deadlines, and engineer performance
