We are recruiting for Multi Traders to support our Southern Housing contract, working in partnership within the social housing sector across Kent.

In this role, you’ll deliver responsive repairs and general maintenance works across both occupied and void properties, ensuring residents live in safe, well-maintained homes. This includes carrying out multi-trade repairs, completing high-quality remedial works, and providing excellent customer service at all times.

The role is based in Sittingbourne, with work covering the wider Kent region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of general multi-trade repairs and maintenance works

  • Undertake carpentry repairs and installations

  • Complete plumbing repairs and maintenance works

  • Carry out UPVC repairs and replacements

  • Complete basic flooring repairs and installations

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Deliver excellent customer service within occupied properties

  • Use PDA systems to manage and update jobs

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in general multi-trade maintenance

  • Background in either carpentry or plumbing preferred

  • Experience with UPVC and flooring works desirable

  • Ability to diagnose faults and complete effective repairs

  • Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

  • Professional and customer-focused approach

  • Familiar with PDA usage

  • Social housing experience is beneficial but not essential

Additional Requirements

  • NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications desirable

  • Clean, valid UK driving licence

  • DBS check required and will be undertaken as part of the onboarding process

  • Eligible to work in the UK (proof required)
